TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
Nord-Lock wheel nuts have been rigorously tested and approved by independent institutes as well as certification authorities. The Junker test is the most rigorous method for testing bolted joints.
During the Junker test, the tested products are tightened and the clamp force is monitored during 1000 load cycles. The conventional wheel nut rotates and loses most of its initial clamp load in the joint. The Nord-Lock wheel nut safely secures the wheel joint and maintains the clamp force.
